Between 2015 and 2017 I was able to accompany Kaj-Sören as a supervisor at MediaEvent Services. He started as a student and in a short time developed into an extremely reliable and competent system engineer.
His responsibilities included project management and customer support, maintenance of our AWS infrastructure with Chef, development with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript and CSS for our webcast platform SlideSync. In addition, he supported our production team on site and remotely as a webcast operator.

I had the privilege of working with Kaj on a number of projects. Of particular note, however, is the project "Decentralized Development and Continuous Integration", on which we worked over a longer period of time and which helped the internal teams to deploy S/4HANA Cloud and on-premise editions extremely quickly (usually a new S/4HANA instance was available within 30 minutes!) by using container images on the Kubernetes infrastructure. Kaj’s contribution to the overall design and construction of the Kubernetes architecture with the introduction of automation/pipelines was crucial. He had in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and hyperscaler topics, as well as programming skills that enabled the creation of daily S/4HANA container images for a number of internal teams. It was an honor to have Kaj on the project team!
